Badakhshan University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, has launched a national conference focused on “Tourist Attractions” to foster the growth of the country’s tourism industry and attract international visitors to its historical sites and landmarks.

The opening ceremony of this conference witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Minister of Higher Education, Qari Din Muhammad Hanif, the Minister of Economy, as well as representatives from various government agencies, academic scholars, and cultural figures.

Over the course of three days, the conference will feature the presentation of 39 academic papers by university professors, exploring various aspects of tourist attractions and the tourism industry.
