Mayor of Herat Oversees Progress on Road Construction Project

Mullah Nimatullah (Hasan Haji Sahib), the Mayor of Herat, along with his delegation, conducted a visit to monitor the ongoing construction project in the southern section of the road from Karbas pool to Hawadah in the 7th and 9th districts.

During the visit, Mayor Mullah Nimatullah personally inspected the progress of the asphalt project on the first section of the road, which stretches from Zuz Karbas to Biyar Hawada. He urged the officials and the contractor company to ensure the completion of the project within the specified timeframe while adhering to engineering standards.

The project encompasses the asphalt work on both segments of the road, covering a total length of 2700 meters. Additionally, the construction of canals and culverts, with a budget of 76 million Afghanis from the development funds of Herat Municipality, is being carried out on both parts of the road. Currently, the project has achieved a significant progress rate of 95%.

The visit by Mayor Mullah Nimatullah reflects the municipality’s commitment to overseeing the construction activities and ensuring that the project is executed with precision and in accordance with engineering guidelines.
