In a significant development, a textile manufacturing factory named Nasaji Nakhi has initiated its operations in Kandahar.  After facing considerable delays, the factory has commenced a trial run to assess its functionality.

The textile mills in Kandahar have been out of operation since the era of Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan, but with the determined efforts of the Islamic Emirate, officials have undertaken repair works over the past six months, resulting in the production of cloth on a trial basis.

The director of the factory has confirmed that out of the 3,200 machines in the facility, 600 have been successfully repaired. This marks a significant step towards revitalizing the textile industry in Kandahar and holds promise for future growth and productivity.
