Registration of electronic ID cards inaugurated in Farah province

FARAH, Dec. 12 – Haji Mawlawi Abdul Karim Jihadyar, Deputy Governor of Farah Province, Jami Sahib, Director of Finance and Administration of the Governor’s Office, Rahmatullah Fitrat, Director of Population and Civil Registration of Farah along with officials of the department attended the inauguration ceremony held for launching of electronic identity card registration and distribution in the province..

The Deputy Governor of Farah, while inaugurating the Electronic ID Registration Process, expressed satisfaction over the opening of the Center in the province and the commencement of biometric registration. He added that biometric registration of 300 residents of the province will be done while the process would be accelerated in the near future.

He also informed about more electronic ID registration centers to be set up where  hundreds of electronic ID cards would be distributed every day.

On the other hand, the residents of Farah are happy with the opening of electronic ID registration center in the province and say that by getting these ID cards, they can get their passports and travel abroad for legal work.
