Reconstruction on Remaining Sections of Kabul-Kandahar Highway Commences

Honorable Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Isa Sani, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Public Works, conducted a visit to Maidan Wardak province where he inspected the progress of repair and reconstruction activities on four sections of the Kabul-Kandahar highway.

The repair and restoration work on these sections had commenced a few days prior, with the financial expenses being covered by the Ministry of Public Works’ budget.

During the visit, the Acting Minister provided instructions to the contractor companies, managers, and project supervisors to ensure the completion of the Kabul-Kandahar highway project with adherence to high-quality standards and within the specified timeframe. This directive reflects the ministry’s commitment to delivering a well-maintained and efficient roadway system for the benefit of the public.
