FARAH, July. 29 – A recent report from Pushtrod district states that the 7 days long clashes in the surroundings of the said district ended late today, causing heavy losses to the enemy. Throughout the battle all routs to the area were cut-off and the enemy failed to break the siege. Meanwhile the enemy has heavily bombarded the area but all praise belong to Allah as the Mujahideen have suffered no casualties. At least 28 puppets including special force troops airdropped by helicopters have been killed with 18 others wounded as well as 4 tanks destroyed during this 7 days long gunfight. A Mujahid was martyred and 3 others wounded in the operation.
