PAKTIA, Jun. 18 – Amid the ongoing fast-paced ‘Operation Mansouri’, the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate launched a complex martyr attack on on a Special Force Police base in Gardez city, the capital of Paktia province.
The attack began at 06:22 am local time when a Mujahid from the martyrdon seeking battalion of Islamic Emirate detonated his explosive-laden vehicle inside the base following which multiple other martyrdom seekers entered the site and began engaging the enemy.
The powerful explosion has destroyed the entire building, after which the second group killed those who remained alive before engaging outside troops that arrived later to the site, according to the martyrdom seekers communicating from inside the base.
