Foreign Minister holds meeting with high-level Turkish delegation

Mr. Muttaqi engaged in discussions regarding the migration phenomenon, the need to enhance bilateral cooperation in managing irregular migration and combating organized crime activities. He also expressed appreciation for Turkey’s humanitarian aid efforts.

Mr. Attila Toros expressed satisfaction with the prevailing security situation in Afghanistan. He acknowledged the challenges faced by the Afghan people, particularly the risks associated with irregular migration, emphasizing the importance of promoting legal migration pathways to address this issue.

Mr. Muttaqi requested that the Turkish side facilitate the visa issuance process for Afghans to enable legal travel to Turkey.

Furthermore, the meeting focused on exploring opportunities to develop economic and trade relations between the two countries, promoting private sector growth, and highlighting the available investment prospects in Afghanistan.
