Enemy check post overrun in Zabul, equipment seized

ZABUL, Oct. 02 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen conducted coordinated attacks against 4 enemy check posts situated in Lworgi area of Naw Bahar district overnight.

Attacks of heavy and light arms resulting in the check post belong to an Arbaki commander –Raza ul Haq – overrun forcing the enemy to flee after suffering heavy casualties while leaving 2 corpses on the battle ground.

A PKM machine gun, 3 rifles, 178 PKM rounds, 12 RPG rounds, 1310 rifles rounds, 3 ammunition vests were seized as well as a motorbike destroyed.

A Mujahid was wounded during the operation.
