    The commencement of construction work for the second phase of the fourth section of the Herat-Khaf railway line has been announced.

    Dignitaries from the Islamic Emirate, Iranian Railways officials, and local authorities of Herat were present for the inauguration of this significant project. The Gama company, responsible for the construction, has reported that the main stretch of this railway line covers a distance of 47 kilometers, beginning from Rabat Perian in Zindajan District and concluding at Herat Airport.

     

    According to the contracting company, the estimated financial cost of this project remains at 53 million US dollars.
