WARDAK, Nov. 09 – A hydro power production plant in a dame of Chak district of Wardak province inaugurated by The Honorable Mawlawi Muhammad Hanif Hamzah, General Manager of Afghanistan Breshna Company, Honorable Qari Bakhtiar, Governor of Wardak Province, Honorable Alhaj Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Acting Minister of Water and Energy, and other high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate and construction began.

During the project’s launch, the Acting Ministry of Water and Energy stressed its significance and mentioned that thousands of homes would get access to energy as a result of its implementation.

Meanwhile, the provincial governor of Wardak referred to the project’s implementation as a significant accomplishment for the residents of Maidan Wardak province’s Chak district.

However, Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Rahmani, Chief Operating Officer of Afghanistan Barsha Company, stressed the significance of electricity if the company’s authorities are dedicated to the nation’s development and production and will take further action in this regard.

It is important to note that the Islamic Emirate has approved a budget of 164 million Afghanis for this project, with an additional 250 million Afghanis expected to be approved in the future.

The project, which will take 18 months to complete, will give Chak distircit’s power production facility a total capacity of 3.9 megawatts.
