Badghis’s gypsum mines employ hundreds

Hundreds of people are employed in the Gacho mines of Badghis province

Numerous jobs have been created in the coal mines and processing plants in the Muqar and Sang Atish districts of Badghis province. Badghis is rich in gypsum resources, with five companies currently engaged in gypsum extraction.

This initiative aims to make Afghanistan self-sufficient in gypsum production and enable the country to export gypsum to other nations in the near future.
