KABUL, Dec. 29- The Honorable Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the IEA held a meeting with Mr. Alim Khan Yasin Gildayev, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Kabul today, says Hafiz zia Ahmad Takal the deputy spoksman of foreign ministry.

 

Minister Muttaqi warmly welcomed Ambassador Gildayev and described the current state of relations between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan as positive and mutually beneficial.

The Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the positive relations it has with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and expressed his desire to further expand commercial and political ties with Afghanistan.

He also conveyed information on behalf of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stating that the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan has officially removed the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan from the list of banned groups, thereby allowing them to operate in Kazakhstan.

 

Minister Muttaqi expressed gratitude to the government of Kazakhstan for taking practical measures to overcome existing obstacles between the two countries. He reiterated Afghanistan’s commitment to maintaining positive relations with Kazakhstan and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation across various fields.
