KANDAHAR, Nov. 23 – A 30-bed emergency hospital in Spinboldak district, Afghanistan, has been inaugurated by the Minister of Public Health, Mr. Dr. Qalandar Ibad, the Minister of Economy, Mr. Qari Din Muhammad Hanif, and the Chief of Public Health of Kandahar, Mawlawi Muhammad Adam Muslim.

The hospital aims to improve access to standard health services, develop hospitals, and increase the capacity of health workers.

The Ministry of Public Health has built over 300 hospitals in the past two years and plans to build a hospital on every five districts in all provinces.

The hospital was built with financial cooperation from the World Health Organization to improve emergency services access and provide timely services to patients and passengers traveling from the fictitious line of Chaman.
