HELMAND, Dec. 20 – Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA) completed process of monitoring fuel pump stations, storage and sales centers in Helmand province for quality of oil, said the authority in a statement.

In total, over 180 oil storage and 60 pump stations were monitored, of which 50 pump stations and 18 storages were sealed, the statement added.

According to statement low quality of petroleum products has a harmful and destructive effect on the health and safety of our dear citizens, that is why the ANSS is determined to end the presence of the petroleum mafia in the country’s markets and create healthy competition between the traders of petroleum products.
