FARYAB, Sep. 10 – Reports arriving from Sharin Tagab district states that at around 3:00 pm local time today a heavy gunfight broke out against ANP and ALP troops in Faizabad area of the district. Gunfight in which heavy and light weapons were used lasted to 6:00 pm, destroying 3 hireling tanks and a ranger pickup destroyed, killing 2 police on the spot and wounding 3 others. Coward enemy as usual opened fire on innocent civilians, leaving a villager martyred and another one wounded. All praise belong to Allah alone as Mujahideen suffered no casualties in the operation.
