KANDAHAR, May. 26 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’, heroic Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate carried out coordinated assaults on a hireling base and its 3 defensive check posts in Zangitan area of Shawalikot district last night. Attacks of heavy and light continued till late night hours, resulting in the said base and all 2 posts overrun, killing 35 puppets, arresting 7 others and forcing the rest to flee leaving corpses behind. Details say, 7 APCs, 1 SPG9 tube, 2 Dshk guns, 3 mortar tubes and sizable amount of other war equipment have been seized the details of which will be updated later. 5 Mujahideen are said to have been wounded and 2 others have embraced martyrdom.
