2 vehicles destroyed in Faryab, 15 killed and wounded

FARYAB, Jun. 06 – Mujahideen attacked an enemy convoy arriving Faryab province from Balkh province in Chahar Shangi and Ferozai areas of Dawlat Abad district early evening hours on Tuesday.

Attacks which continued till midnight hours, resulting in 2 supply trucks destroyed, killing 12 puppets on the spot and forcing the rest to flee leaving 2 corpses, a vehicle and other ammunitions behind on the battle ground.

4 Mujahideen were also wounded in the crossfire.

Meanwhile, a hireling commander – Gul Muhammad – was seriously wounded and his 2 guards killed after being attacked by Mujahideen in Yangi Kala area of Khawaja Musa district.
