The Afghan Mujahideen valiantly fought and crushed the Soviet invaders, thus forcing them to withdraw from Afghanistan. It was a historical achievement not only in the history of Afghanistan but also Islam. Afghans brought down a superpower and achieved freedom. This was only possible after millions sacrificed their lives and gave away everything they had for this achievement. Sadly, after the withdrawal of Soviet invaders, complete anarchy and lawlessness started. Leaders of factions and their commanders started their atrocities for grabbing power and share. Afghanistan as a country was in disarray. Factions and criminals started to thrive because of the lawlessness. The brave Afghan people who fought against the Soviets were betrayed and they were left vulnerable. The lives, honor, wealth, and properties of common Afghans were in grave danger. Another wave of migration started. Common people had lost hope. The factional leaders turned warlords were merciless and they didn’t left anything in their cruelty on the people of Afghanistan.

In those dark times, the late leader of the faithful, Mullah Muhammad Omar Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) stood up against all evils. He gathered the scattered Mujahideen under one banner which was the banner of Islam. He gathered everyone under his leadership as per the rules of the Holy Quran and teachings of our Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). The gathering of Mujahideen who fought previously against Soviets were named as Taliban (students of religion). Soon every Afghan from all walks of life welcomed them as they did something which were the aspirations of Afghan nation. They protected and safeguarded the vulnerable war-torn country and its innocent citizens from the cruelties of the barbaric warlords. In areas under the Taliban, the lives, sanctities, wealth and honor of the people were protected. This was done at when there was no external support whatsoever for the Taliban. Women rights were protected, the rightful Shariah Law was implemented and people had a sigh of relief.

As the Taliban swept the country with the support of the common Afghans, the forces of the faithful marched on Kabul which was suffocating and the people of Kabul were like a prison made in jungle without any rules. Kabul was under the lawlessness of the criminal barbaric warlords and their militias. When Taliban arrived at the gate of Kabul, ordinary people welcomed them. This was indeed a historical moment. Taliban freed Kabul and it’s people on 27th September 1996, thus completing the establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was established against overwhelming odds and the defiance shown by Taliban afterwards is also a part of history. The Taliban freed Kabul and conquered the warlords by giving freedom to the innocent citizens of Afghanistan. After giving freedom to Kabul and establishing of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan by implementing the Shariah law in its entirety, it was one of the only pure Islamic government in modern times. The establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan gave protection to everyone in Afghanistan.

The filthy communists and their masters left the society crippled which had lost its identity and moral values. Today as every Afghan remembers the historical day when Kabul was liberated from the warlords, the citizens of Afghanistan and specifically Kabul are once again under brutalities. There is warlordism in its modern form. Criminals are decorated and empowered by the stooge administration. The system is run by mafias. Women are beaten in broad daylight under the nose of the so called protectors of the women rights. Robberies are part of the daily routine of the people. The lawlessness, unemployment and corruption is staggering.

Once again citizens of Afghanistan from every walk of life are eager for the establishment of an Islamic rule based on Shariah law. The Afghans have struggled in every way imaginable due to the western imported democracy. Democracy in Afghanistan is actually hypocrisy. A system which has never been accepted by the common Afghans. Those sitting behind the high concrete blast walls in heavily fortified houses in Kabul are not the ones who are representing Afghans but Afghans are represented by the Mujahideen who fought with their lives and wealth for the freedom of Afghanistan. Afghanistan belongs to those who are fully invested in Afghanistan and not to those who are used by external actors as proxies in Afghanistan.
