KABUL, Mar. 14 – A humanitarian aid package worth 40 million dollars arrived in Afghanistan and has been handed over to a commercial bank in Kabul, said Da Afghanistan Bank in a statement on Tuesday.
The Afghan central bank recognises any moral action that results in the influx of foreign exchange and aid to the society’s most vulnerable members, and it keeps working to develop and expand the banking industry.
The leadership of the Bank of Afghanistan believes that providing humanitarian aid through the banking sector brings transparency and eases the delivery of aid to the people.
