NANGARHAR, Jan. 24 – To provide electricity supply services in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province, two companies have been granted electricity production and distribution licenses, says ministry of energy and water.

According to Mawlawi Noorullah Hikmat, Legal Head of Electricity Market of the Ministry of Energy and Water, 2 licenses have been granted for the production and distribution of electricity in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province to Ajmal Arab and Ranrha Etifaq companies after finalizing the legal stages.

With the purchase of these licenses, Ranrha Etifaq Company is allowed to produce and distribute 5,000 kilowatts of electricity, and Ajmal Arab Company is allowed to produce and distribute 420 kilowatts of electricity.

By providing electricity supply services through these companies, many residents of Jalalabad city will get benefits of electricity.
