Women’s Handicrafts Exhibition Organized in Baghlan

BAGHLAN, Feb. 08 – The Provinical Department of Information and Culture of Baghlan has  organized a handicrafts exhibition together with businessmen and women entrepreneurs, says local officials of the department.

Hamdullah Mubarak and many officials participated in opening ceremony of the exhibition Mr. Mustafa Hashmi said: The purpose of this exhibition is to market women’s hand made item and draw the attention of citizens to buy them.

Hashemi added that they are trying to solve the problems of traders, people should also use domestic goods instead of foreign goods.

Meanwhile, one of the participants of this exhibition, Rana Hashimzadeh, said that the market for the sale of domestic products has improved recently, and in order to improve its performance and increase the purchase of goods, she wants to attract people’s attention through this exhibition. .

Entrepreneur woman Habiba said: We still cannot compete with foreign products. The government should raise taxes and tariffs on foreign products so that people can benefit from domestic products.

Similarly, another businessman Najla said: It is very important to organize such exhibitions.
