In a significant development concerning the legislation pertaining to the welfare of beggars, resolution of their issues, and the facilitation of humanitarian aid, officials from the Ministry of Economy convened a meeting with leaders and representatives of various domestic and international non-governmental organizations.

During this gathering, expressions of gratitude were extended for the collaboration of non-Emirati organizations in promptly providing essential humanitarian assistance to families affected by recent floods across different regions of the country.

Furthermore, the officials engaged in discussions with representatives from these organizations regarding the assistance and support required by individuals who have ceased their practice of begging.

The meeting served as a platform to explore avenues for attracting aid to address the needs of these vulnerable individuals. Reassurances were given, expressing confidence in the continuous humanitarian cooperation and fostering of satisfaction among all stakeholders involved.
