TAKHAR, Oct. 01 – Based on a reconnaissance report by the 217th Omari Corps of 2nd brigade of Hazrat Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah’s 3rd Al-Farooq Battalion of the Ministry of National Defense, a number of weapons and ammunition were discovered and confiscated in Sayab area of Rustaq district of Takhar province.
These weapons included one thousand Russian PK machinenguns, one thousand Kalashnikovs, three Pakistani pistols, five hand grenades and several other ammunitions.
