The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Farah Province, with the financial backing of UNICEF, has successfully completed and activated a water supply network in Khormalaq village, the provincial capital, at a cost of 6 million Afghanis.

This network incorporates the construction of a clean water reservoir with a capacity of 40 cubic meters, the installation of 26 solar panels, and the laying of a 6,000-meter-long pipe. Throughout the construction of this network, numerous employment opportunities were provided to workers, leading to the provision of clean drinking water access to hundreds of families in the village upon its completion.
