The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Samangan Province is overseeing the building of a small water dam, also known as a check dam, in Ghaznigak village within the Hazrat Sultan district.
This project is estimated to cost over 2 million Afghanis. The check dam measures 27 meters in length, 3 meters in height, and has the capacity to store 2348 cubic meters of water.
The construction of this dam has created job opportunities for numerous workers, and once completed, it will effectively manage rainwater and help maintain the groundwater level in the area.
