At the outset, Foreign Minister Muttaqi expressed his optimism regarding the progress that can be achieved after the third Doha meeting, particularly in terms of removing financial and banking sanctions and promoting alternative livelihoods to combat the drug trade.
UNAMA Head, Ms. Roza Atenbayeva, acknowledged the commitment of the Afghan government to collaborate closely with relevant agencies in monitoring the Doha 3 talks.
