KABUL, Oct. 22 – Richard Bennett, the UN Special Reporter for Afghanistan, and his accompanying delegation met with the Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanakzai, at the end of his visit to Afghanistan.

The United Nations special reporter appreciated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for providing travel facilities and free access to the facts.

While welcoming Richard Bennett, Mr. Stanakzi expressed that There are humanitarian problems in the whole world including our neighbors, Europe, and Afghanistan has recently come out of war of  half a century.

Referring to the problems of the previous administration, he said, the level of suicide and illegal killing of women, abduction and torture in prisons has now reached zero as compared to past.

Mr. Stanakzai also stressed the United Nations for help in solving economic problems, banking restrictions, treatment of drug addicts and other such problems.

In the end, Mr. Bent promised to ask foreign donors for all kinds of help to eradicate poverty from Afghanistan.
