Mawlawi Badruddin Haqqani, the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to the United Arab Emirates, presented his letter of credence to Mr. Saif Abdullah Al Shamsi, the Deputy Minister of Ceremonies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as part of a formal series of ceremonies.

During the event, Mr. Mawlawi Badruddin Haqqani characterized the longstanding relationship between Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates as historic, expressing his appreciation and contentment for the continuous support and cooperation provided by the UAE government.

Mr. Saif Abdullah Al-Shamsi conveyed his optimism regarding the significance of Afghanistan’s ties with the United Arab Emirates, emphasizing the potential for further enhancement of these bilateral relations through the appointment of a new ambassador.

In the forthcoming period, the newly accredited Afghan ambassador is anticipated to present his credentials on behalf of his country to the head of state of the United Arab Emirates in a sequence of official ceremonies to solidify diplomatic relations.
