The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has announced the successful completion and activation of two water supply networks in Jan Khan Karez and Zarzigi villages within the Chora district of Uruzgan province.

These networks, constructed at a cost exceeding 8 million Afghanis, have been established to cater to the water needs of the local communities.

Supported financially by the Swiss Solidarity Office, these vital infrastructures now deliver clean drinking water to a total of 800 families residing in the area.
