PAKTIA, Jul. 09 – Officials reporting from Paktia capital Gardez say that two notorious bandits – Zardad and Isa Khan – who were detained by Mujahideen a couple of days earlier tried to escape Mujahideen captivity when Mujahideen came under an enemy ambush as they were transferring the detainees to a different location last night.
Both of the criminals tried to use the opportunity to escape and grappled with their guards, who in return opened fire and killed both on the same spot.
It should be mentioned that both the criminals had confessed to armed robbery and kidnappings including the kidnapping of two workers of an international NGO.
