KABUL, Dec. 12 – In a meeting with the Acting Minister of Energy and Water, several Turkish investors, including the President of Anatolian Ulama of Türkiye, Sheikh Umar Farooq Modares Oglu, and the President of Tomisyad Trading Company, Fatih Shinir, expressed their interest in investing in projects under the Ministry, said a statement of the ministry.

During this visit, Turkish investors conveyed their willingness to invest in power generation projects from various sources.

The Acting Minister of Energy and Water commended their interest in investing in Afghanistan, stating that the country possesses the necessary capacity to produce energy from diverse sources. He also conveyed the ministry’s leadership interest in fostering collaboration with investors in this field.

H.E. Mansoor emphasized the importance of conducting technical meetings to enhance coordination between officials on both sides. This, he noted, would facilitate the groundwork for these investments, enabling practical work to commence soon.
