KABUL, Jan. 23 – Inamullah Samangani, Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said 6 tons of aid items belonging to the Turkish International Blue Crescent had arrived in Kabul.
Samangani added that the items included winter clothes and food items, which were handed over to the Red Crescent by a representative of the Blue Moon Agency, which will be distributed to deserving citizens in coordination with the two agencies.
The aid comes two days after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his willingness to help the Afghan people with 700 tonnes of food and clothing.
