The Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan Electricity Company (DABS), Dr. Abdul Bari Umar , the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Afghan National Bank, Dr. Shakir Jalali, and the Chairman of Kajaki Electricity Energy Production Company, Burak Ansal, have inked a financial assistance agreement.
According to the terms of this accord, the Afghan National Bank has committed to extending financial backing to the Kajaki Electricity Dam project with a sum of twelve million US dollars through a sales support arrangement.
In an effort to bolster the private sector, the Afghan National Bank is disbursing the funds to the Kajaki Electricity Production Company in the form of a sale and purchase agreement.
