Tree plantation drive kicks off in Laghman

LAGHMAN, Feb. 08 – The campaign has been started today by Laghman Department of Information and Culture, youth management, with the efforts of volunteer youth and sportsmen, planting a number of saplings in front of the Department of Information and Culture.

Mawlawi Abdul Noor Rasooli, head of information and culture, said: “The weather has improved in Laghman, it is time to plant saplings, and encouraged young volunteers, sportsmen and employees of the department to plant one sapling per person for himself and for the fertility of the country.

He says: Our goal from this action is the beauty, fertility and prosperity of the country.

It is worth noting that a number of saplings have been distributed to young volunteers from the said department to planting in their institutions and related areas and to monitor and take care of them.
