HERAT, Feb. 08 – 750 tons of humanitarian aid from the Turkish Red Crescent reached the port of Torgundi in Herat province. Mullah Noureddine Torabi, Deputy Minister of Red Crescent of Afghanistan, Ambassador of Turkey Mr. Cihad Erginy, Governor of Herat Mawlawi Islam Jar and representative of the Turkish Red Crescent Farid Zia welcomed the Turkish aid.
According to details, Turkish Red Crescent is providing humanitarian assistance through two trains consisting of 47 wagons and carrying about 750 tons of aid that reached Afghanistan via Iran and Turkmenistan.
