HELMAND, Dec. 18 – A training house for civilian and military drivers was inaugurated by the traffic department in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province today.

In this course, 100 drivers of this province will be taught traffic rules.

This driver training course will cover traffic signs, and other traffic rules installed on highways, cities, sidewalks, and public roads.

Haji Sardar Mohammad Walizada, Deputy Director of Helmand Traffic Department, said:

The course will train military and civilian drivers. Which will reduce the number of traffic accidents.

The drivers who attended the course said: “Traffic education is very important, they will get legal documents along with knowing all the rules that are required while driving.”

It is worth mentioning that overcrowding has taken place in the cities at present, which leads to many traffic accidents due to violation and non-compliance of traffic rules.
