KABUL, Jan. 16 – The thirteenth cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was held under the leadership of prime minister H.E Mullah Muhammad Hasan Alhund on Monday, the 25th of Marghumi. Several topics were discussed, and decisions were made during the meeting.

 

The meeting commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran. The High Commission for Refugees was entrusted with the responsibility of addressing work and housing issues for recently returned migrants and other individuals. The commission was instructed to address the problems and work diligently towards finding solutions.

 

Furthermore, the Ministry of Public Works appointed Abdul Karim Fataj as a technical assistant to the delegation headed by Kabul Municipality. The delegation’s focus is on the development and improvement of transportation, aviation, irrigation, and urban development.

Representatives from the Ministries of Livestock, Agriculture, and Urban Development were also present and actively participated in the meeting. They were tasked with conducting a comprehensive assessment of the country’s highways and determining their extent and size in each province.

 

Additionally, the Ministry of Public Works was assigned the responsibility of addressing the issues faced by trucks along the Salang highways. The ministry was urged to find suitable solutions to these problems.

 

The meeting concluded with a prayer for the well-being and success of the endeavors discussed.
