HELMAND, Feb. 09 – The Minister of Education, Sheikh Mawlawi Noorullah Munir, the Deputy Minister, Mawlawi Sakhaullah, and a delegation arrived yesterday Helmand province on a special visit, reported Bakhter News Agency.
The delegation visited Helmand education department and discussed various issues with the officials of this department and teachers of madrasa and schools.
They were briefed about the progress and achievements of the Department of Education and gave necessary instructions and recommendations on educational and other necessary matters for the future.
The Minister later met with UNICEF officials in Helmand and praised the foundation’s cooperation with the Department of Education in advancing the education process and called for cooperation with the provincial education department.
