BAGHLAN, Apr. 01 – The Aga Khan Development Network has started the reconstruction of 100-bed hospital in central Baghlan district with coasting value of 60,000 US dollars.

Director of Public Health of Baghlan, Dr. Masoud Ahmadi, said that this project is divided into two parts, reconstruction of a part of the hospital and the surrounding wall worth 1.1 million AFN, and delivery of health services from a distance worth over $23000.

Ahmadi added that the work of the first part has been started and the work of the second part will start after this hospital will be connected to Afghan Turk in Kabul and Bamiyan and Aga Khan Hospital in Peshawar.

 

Baghlan Governor’s Spokesman Mala Alam Majidi told the regional reporter of Bakhtar Agency that the regional administration of this province is committed to the development of health services and is trying to meet this commitment to solve the problems and obstacles in the field of health and eliminate it with the help of Aga Khan Foundation and other institutions.
