The foundation stone of Madrasa laid

BALKH, May 18 – The foundation stone of a Madrasa (religious institution), Darul-Aman was laid with the collective efforts of the regional education authorities and local people in Chahar Bolak district of Balkh province.

The foundation stone of the institute of the Islamic education, built at the local people’s expense which will be financed by them in the future, was laid by Ulama (scholars) and tribal elders during a grand gathering, while the construction work is in progress.

At the meeting held for very purpose, the education authorities of Balkh province addressed the locals and the heads of the madrassas that they would make serous efforts to work for the development and promotion of education in the province.
