Deputy Minister of Railways Meets representative of Iranian President

While on a diplomatic mission to Iran, Deputy Minister of Railways, Mawlawi Muhammad Ishaq Sahibzada, engaged in talks with the Iranian President’s representative, Hassan Kazmi Qomi, and representatives from Iranian firms involved in railway infrastructure development.

This visit encompassed discussions on enhancing cross-border transfers via the third segment of Khawaf-Herat, establishing novel transit routes across Afghanistan on a regional scale to bolster trade and transportation, and fostering collaborative efforts in bilateral relay projects such as Herat-Nimroz, Nimroz-Kandahar, and Chabahar.

Iranian companies also expressed their preparedness to invest in relay projects within Afghanistan and extend technical cooperation during this visit.
