Tense of Jribs land cleared of opium , 17 arrested on drug sale and smuggling

KABUL, Jun. 11 – The anti-narcotics police have turned tens of acres of poppy fields in Shakardara district of Kabul.

Simmilerly, the border police arrested a smuggler with 500 kg of opium in Abunasr Farahi port of Farah province while security forces have seized 7,200 kg of hashish and 6 kg of powder, which were placed very skillfully, at the Kabul airport.

Meanwhile, 10 people have been arrested in Kabul, 5 in Herat and one in Nimroz in connection with the sale of drugs.
