Earlier today, in the presence of Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, the esteemed Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, and Turkmenistan’s National Leader, Gurbanguly Bardi Mohammadov, the signing ceremony for the TAPI project and other development ventures (oil and gas, energy, and transportation) between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan took place, marking the official commencement of the work.

 

During the ceremony held at Islam Chashma in the Mari region of Turkmenistan, where the President of Turkmenistan joined via video conference, technical officials were briefed on the development projects (oil, gas, energy, and transport) between the two nations. They were instructed to initiate the work, and these projects were formally inaugurated.

 

In his address, the President of the Islamic Emirate, the esteemed Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund, extended congratulations to the people of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, the National Leader of Turkmenistan, the President, officials, and all participants on this momentous day.

 

Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund remarked that today marks a long-awaited occasion, where after years of challenges and hardships endured by the people of both nations, these significant projects have now been unveiled. He highlighted that the initiation of these crucial projects demonstrates the constructive intentions and astute diplomacy of Turkmenistan’s National Leader and other officials.

 

These projects are set to strengthen the bond between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, bringing numerous benefits to the citizens of both countries.
