Tactical attack destroys vehicle, kills 3 in Gerishk

HELMAND, Aug. 22 – At around 4:00 pm local time yesterday the vehicle of a hireling ANP commander – Nasir – came under a tactical mine attack in Bazar area of Gerishk district, destroying the vehicle and killing 3 of his guard, however the said commander escaped safely.
Also in Gerishk a hireling trooper was killed after an enemy patrol came under a Mujahideen bombing in Sarband area at around 7:00 am local time today.
