During the ceremony commemorating Afghanistan’s 105th independence anniversary from British rule, Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi emphasized that economy, governance, military capabilities, Unity, and support of public are factors contributing to governmental strength.

Muttaqi recognized the hardships and sacrifices of the Afghan people, attributing their liberation to divine assistance and stressing the importance of a spiritual foundation to protect their freedom. He juxtaposed this with countries boasting strong military forces yet remaining enslaved.

Furthermore, the Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of public trust, economic self-sufficiency, and a strong military as essential elements for preserving a nation’s independence.
