KANDAHAR, May. 10 – Amid ongoing Al Khandaq Operation’, Mujahideen carried out attacks on a key military base and 3 check posts in Chinar area of Shawalikot district on Wednesday night, killing a hireling commander along with other causalities which are unknown at the moment.
Enemy has fled and abandoned the said base and check posts overnight, due to fear of Mujahideen attacks, bringing a large area under the control of Mujahideen.
Separately, enemy is likely to have suffered heavy losses as Mujahideen attacked enemy troops in Wam area of Arghistan district earlier today.
Moreover, a hireling commander – Bismillah – is said to have been killed after being ambushed by Mujahideen in PD4 of Kandahar city midday today.
Meanwhile, a hireling APC has been destroyed and 4 puppets killed inside amid a Mujahideen attack on enemy troops in Toghari area of Maruf district.
In another report, Mujahideen have shelled an enemy base in Maruf district center at noon hours on Wednesday, causing serious toll to enemy.
Also in Maruf, a hireling commander – Maghfoor – and his father – Seyad Umar – have repented their mistakes and surrendered to Mujahideen in Samchak area yesterday.
