Strategic area purged from enemy in Faryab, check post overrun

FARYAB, Aug. 23 – A recent report from Pashtunkot district of Faryab province state that Mujahideen assaulted a hireling check post in Telan area yesterday.
Attacks of heavy and light arms forced the enemy to flee, overrunning in the said check post and the said area fell to Mujahideen.
According to details during fleeing enemy has martyred 2 villagers and wounded 2 others (Surly to Allah we belong and to Him we return).
It is to mention that the said area was under tight besiege of Mujahideen for the past one week and was purged from enemy last day.
