It is with great sadness to have learnt that an important leader of the Islamic current in Egypt and the former elected President of the country passed away while imprisoned, surely to Allah we belong and to Him is the return.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan extends its condolences to his family, ideological companions and followers and the Muslim Ummah in general on the passing away of late Dr. Mohamed Morsi and considers his passing away a great loss for Egypt and the entire Islamic world. May Allah (SwT) have mercy on Dr. Morsi and accept all his struggles in raising high the Word of Allah, Ameen O’ Lord of the Universe.
The story of persecuted Dr. Morsi and the disloyalty and oppression directed towards him proves the extent of difficulties, hardships, sacrifices and determination a true struggle and aspirations require. His resolve and perseverance shall remain a shining beacon for the followers of truth and history of Islam and humanity shall forever remember him with pride.
