Statement of Islamic Emirate concerning explosion against civilians in Logar

It is with great sadness to have learnt that a powerful explosion was set off among a crowded civilian area in Pul-e-Alam city, the capital of Logar province, dusk time today from which tens of our fellow citizens were martyred and wounded.

The Islamic Emirate condemns this bloody attack on the eve of Eid in the strongest terms

This crime is the work of those war-mongering intelligence circles that do not wish peace, security, joy and Eid upon our compatriots.

Those who seek to keep the fire of war ablaze, continue bigotry and hatred and extend foreign occupation and their own notorious rule.

The Islamic Emirate calls upon its fellow countrymen to stay alert and be vigilant of the plots by the ruthless enemy.

Employing such intelligence plans that target civilians, public infrastructure, mosques, religious seminaries and scholars displays the absolute weakness and desperation of the enemies of our country and Islamic system which shall ultimately result in their defeat and annihilation, Allah willing.
